The year is quickly coming to a close, and as we transition to a slower (but still moving) active transportation season, it’s an appropriate time to look back at what we’ve accomplished this year. In light of the new leadership, most of our work has centered on who we want to be and what we want to do. Fortunately, this process was greatly facilitated by Brockport being chosen as the pilot Empire State Trail Town by PTNY, which gave us a few sets of external eyes to look at and propose some ideas. As part of the Town and Gown committee co-led by Brockport (the village) and Brockport (the university), we had to submit an annual report of our activities. Rather than restate those ideas, I’ll post a link to that report, for everyone to read. From all of us at Walk! Bike! Brockport! happy holidays. Don’t forget to talk a stroll after all of that holiday feasting.
