On July 25th, 2022, the village celebrated the grand opening of the new MVP Health Care Fitness Court in Corbett Park.
The $138k facility provides visitors to the park with an opportunity to perform a number of exercises in both full body and cardio workouts. Instructions on how to perform the exercises along with recommended workouts are provided on the structure.
Body by Summer recruited some volunteers from her exercise class to show off the various stations. She even encouraged a few members of the audience to participate in the exercises.
The facility is available any time the park is open (dawn to dusk) and is easily accessible from the canal path. Note that the fitness court is one part of a major Corbett Park renovation project that also includes repaving the parking lots. The lots are being repaired through the month of August, so walking or biking to the park might be the easiest route for the meanwhile.
