September ’22 meeting summary

The purpose of the meeting was to begin work on the strategic plan for Walk! Bike! Brockport!.  The three pillars of the plan are Activities, Awareness and Advocacy and is titled “AAA – it’s not just for motor vehicles”. Several ideas were presented and discussed, and committee members were charged with identifying and prioritizing actions to finalize in October’s meeting. Guest Jim Goetz provided information in preparation for National Walk to School day on October 5^th.  PTNY guest Erica Schneider provided a canal town update including ideas for some upcoming activities, presentations, and collaboration with the college through club sports. Garrett Roe presented items from the activities team meeting, including efforts to expand the active transportation network and ideas for upcoming events. The next meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, October 11.
